Pony Express Community Bank is now officially part of the First Option Bank family.

We're glad you're here! Pony Express Community Bank has completed its merger with First option Bank. Pony Express Community Bank branches became First Option Bank branches as of Friday, November 8th.

We want to assure you that under the new name of First Option Bank, you'll continue to enjoy the unique benefits of community banking. What's Happening & When

Your accounts were automatically transferred to First Option Bank on Friday, November 8, 2019, at 4:00pm.  At the same time, the name has officially changed to First Option Bank and you may conduct your banking at your local branch or any other First Option Bank location.

The weekend of June 19 - 22, 2020 we will be going through a core conversion so our systems will be fully integrated.

  • Call the Customer Service Line (913)557-0800 or visit any branch with questions or concerns.

  • Check your available balance(s) as you WILL NOT have access to your available balance during upgrade weekend.
  • Download copies of any cleared checks or statements you may need during upgrade weekend.

  • November 8th, 2019: Last day as Pony Express Community Bank. Name officially changed to First Option Bank at 4:00pm.
  • June 19 - 22, 2020: System Integration Weekend
    • June 19th
           3pm CST | Mobiliti App will be removed from App Stores.
           4pm CST | Business Online Banking - No Access 
           4pm CST | Checkfree RXP and Small Business Bill Pay - No Access

The upgrade will require you to take some simple, one-time steps in order to make your telephone, online, and mobile banking services compatible with the new system. We never want to ask you to do anything that makes banking more complicated, but again, the sole purpose of this update is to provide easier and more secure banking for you, so we’re confident you’ll find these one-time, minor inconveniences well worth it.
